A $1-million provincial grant is creating 33 new jobs at Aalbers Tool & Mold in Oldcastle.
The money from the Southwestern Ontario Development Fund will be used for new state-of-the-art equipment and employee training at the auto parts manufacturer.
CEO Gary Aalbers is excited about the future of his company. "The industry is booming, and we're at the point where we can't keep up with demand. So with this, we're able to buy new equipment, new software, new technology and most importantly, hire and train new employees."
Aalbers says this is just part of a $10-million investment that the company hopes to make in equipment and training over the next five years.
