Calling the team's performance "embarrassing," Windsor Spitfires General Manager Warren Rychel says he and head coach Bob Boughner will be looking at every position in the off-season.
The Spitfires ended their season with 11 straight losses including the final 12-1 loss to the Greyhounds.
"We didn't do a good enough job at everything," says Rychel. "You just got to go back and work at it and improve every position. Individually, the kids have got to go home and work hard and come back with a fresh attitude."
Rychel admits this year's OHL draft will be extremely important for the team moving forward, but says it won't be so easy to pick out a star. "It's a different kind of year. There's no clear cut McDavid, Hall or Stamkos," he says. "We're going to do our homework. We need to add that elite player into the lineup.
He's confident the fans will continue to support the team despite a disappointing season.
Windsor has the second overall pick in the OHL Draft set for April 11.
