The union that represents a worker targeted in recent racial incidents at the Windsor Assembly Plant says a hotline has been set up to catch the perpetrator.
Police continue to investigate after a noose was left for a worker at the plant three times over a period of five days. LiUNA Local 625 and Fiat-Chrysler Automotive are also investigating the incidents.
LiUNA Local 625 Business Manager Rob Petroni says Windsor police set up the hotline inside the plant for employees working on the retooling effort to call if they have information about the incidents.
Petroni says the worker is shaken by the incidents but has insisted on staying on the job. "In that way, whoever is doing this would win." The worker doesn't work alone and parks in a space that is considered safer.
