Manufacturers Making New Connections

Auto parts manufacturers in Windsor are being introduced to companies that could help them expand their businesses globally.

Owner of Harbour Technologies and Thunder Composite Technologies David Glover says today's Manufacturers Suppliers Day conference is extremely important.

"Companies like Seimens and SNC-Lavalin put out $100-million contracts, so if a few (local) companies get chunks of that, the trickle-down effect is tremendous," explains Glover.

He sees local manufacturing growing in the coming years, as it becomes easier to connect with global organizations and bid on contracts from offices in Windsor.
