Canada Day means a day off, but also some closures to deal with.
Government offices are closed today and re-opening tomorrow. LCBO and Beer Store locations are included in those closures, although most major retailers and banks are open today with reduced hours.
Libraries are closed in Windsor-Essex and it's a Sunday schedule for Windsor Transit, but Tunnel service won't be affected.
Recycling, yard waste and garbage collection is pushed back for most to tomorrow, although there aren't any changes needed in Kingsville. Click here to check your collection in the county or here to see your schedule in Windsor.
The Canada Day Parade in Windsor at 11am will mean some traffic delays on Wyandotte St. Fireworks are set for 10:05pm in Leamington with entertainment beforehand. In Tecumseh, there's a recreation swim open from 1pm-3:30pm.
