Windsor police have one man in custody following a sexual assault investigation, first reported by BlackburnNews.com on Monday.
Police say a 22-year-old woman was assaulted by a man on a e-bike in the 600-block of University Ave. E just before 6am that morning.
Officers found the victim at 770 Riverside Dr. E., sitting on a park bench.
At around 11am on Wednesday, a man matching the description of the suspect was located on Wyandotte St. E and arrested.
A 34-year-old Windsor man now faces two counts of sexual assault along with drug charges, as amounts of cocaine, marijuana, and ecstasy were allegedly found on him.
