A Toronto area couple were turned away from the U.S. border after officers found suspected fake identification cards.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection says 14 identification and credit cards were found inside the vehicle last Friday, including fake credit cards, naturalization cards, divers licence, and social insurance cards.
The cards were turned over to homeland security for investigation.
The 22-year-old Toronto man and 24-year-old Brampton woman were released, and sent back to Canada.
