Hospice Fund Raiser Enters 13th Year

This year's Face To Face fund raiser for the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County is kicking off.

It's goal is $65,000, which Operations Manager for Community Engagement Hana Irving says will go a long way in supporting patient and family services, like the Fairley Family Transportation Program.

"It offers about 6,500 rides a year to patients, their families and care-givers," she says. "To take them from their home to the hospice village for programs and for medical appointments."

Irving explains that each of those rides costs $10, and that's why the campaign is asking each fund raiser to simply asks ten people to donate $10.

Over the course of twelve years, the Face To Face campaign has raised more than $600,000 for the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County.
