Tonight's Miss Tecumseh pageant will kick off the 40th annual Cornfest.
Pageant organizer Chelsae Durocher says 11 girls are competing this year for the crown.
"We're just doing a run through of the show," says Durocher. "We have our host here and we're going through the sets, making sure the music works and the girls know where they are going on stage."
Recording artists These Kids Wear Crowns and Alyssa Reid highlight the stage entertainment at Lacasse Park this weekend.
Durocher adds it's a jam packed schedule.
"Being the 40th anniversary we have a lot of different things going on. We have BINGO, and a super-fun corn maze," she says. "There are also interactive games for the whole family this year."
A midway and hot buttered corn also highlight this years festival.
