Richard Orum Jr., 26, was riding near the 4th Concession around 5:30am yesterday when he was hit by a passing minivan.
He remains in hospital in critical condition.
Police are still investigating the incident.
Following the crash officers warned the public to always ride with reflectors and wear a helmet.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
