Officials say a forensic investigation is underway now to pinpoint an exact cause of the Wednesday explosion.
The explosion caused $150,000 damage to the originating home and a neighbouring house.
Seven people were left without a place to live.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
