The WindsorEssex Community Foundation is dishing out $50,000 in grants in support of community projects.
Twelve organizations in Windsor-Essex received money, which comes from annual earnings of the foundation's unrestricted endowment funds.
ACCESS County Community Support Services, Skate Amherstburg, Windsor Essex County Community Garden Collective, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Windsor-Essex, Windsor Classic Chorale, Windsor/Essex Humane Society, the Windsor Youth Centre, Family Services Windsor-Essex, the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit, the Jack Miner Migratory Bird Foundation, Doors Open Windsor, and the Greater Windsor Track & Field Club all received funding.
