Dwight Duncan is the new interim chair of the Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority.
Duncan was appointed by the Infrastructure Canada and will temporarily replace Mark McQueen who stepped down recently.
In a media release Infrastructure Canada says Duncan was appointed because of his deep roots in the community and his experience dealing with complex portfolios. He will start with the board on January 1, 2016 and hold the position until a new chair is found.
Infrastructure Canada says they needed someone to fill the position as soon as possible so as to not delay the project.
