Despite an early lead, the Windsor Express were edged 120-119 by the Moncton Miracles on Thursday.
The Express scored a five goal advantage against Moncton at the end of the first quarter, and continued to lead 71-66 at halftime. However, the Miracles were able to gain some ground on Windsor to make it 95-92 going into the final frame. After a back and forth quarter, Windsor regained a one point lead in the fourth to make 116-115, but it wasn't enough with Moncton securing the 120-119 win.
Windsor's Chris Commons led all scorers with a game high of 31 points.
The Express will take on the Island Storm next on Friday at 7pm.
