Elman Remains Windsor's Integrity Commissioner

Bruce Elman will remain Windsor's integrity commissioner for at least one more year.

Windsor councillors voted to retain Elman over hiring Robert Swayze as many county municipalities have already done. Swayze may have been a cheaper option for council however they decided to retain Elman because of his experience.

Elman says his focus this year will be education. "More education programs for agencies, boards and commissions. Which is what I said in the report that I thought that was a very useful exercise," says Elman. No formal complaints were filed with the integrity commissioner in 2015. Two informal complaints were made and resolved since September 30, 2015.

Elman's contract will expire December 31.
