New Hub In Leamington Taking Shape

The Windsor-Essex Children's Aid Society is moving its Leamington office to the re-branded Central 33 building uptown -- formerly known as the Princess Centre.

The CAS says the move will help better serve the needs of children, youth and families in southern Essex County.

About 40 staff are expected to work out of the newly renovated office space and are set to be joined by the City of Windsor's Employment and Social Services/Ontario Works team as well as Community Living Essex County, Children First and the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit.

"We are extremely proud to be paving the way for a new community hub that will create a synergy and cohesive approach to service delivery that can only have a positive impact on how we deliver the highest caliber of programs to Essex County residents,” says Bill Bevan, chief executive officer of the Windsor-Essex CAS.

The move into the new office was earlier this week.
