Police are still looking for a suspect after a Windsor convenience store was robbed for the third time.
The Windsor Police Service says the latest robbery occurred on Sunday around 10am, at a Macs convenience store located at 390 Mill St. An unknown quantity of cash was taken by a man wielding a knife.
The same convenience store was also robbed at knife-point on March 6 and again on March 11. Police believe the same man is responsible for all three robberies.
The suspect is described as a white male, 6′ tall with a slender build. He was last seen wearing a black coat with a hood. The coat has light grey arms and a dark grey body.
Police made an arrest in connection to all three robberies around 7pm on Sunday, but later released the man saying he was the wrong person.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Windsor Police Service at 519-255-6700 or Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477 (TIPS).
