Essex Fire and Rescue says firefighters responded to the 100-block of Victoria St. around 11pm on Friday.
Fire officials say smoke alarms alerted the residents of the fire, and they were able to make it out safely.
The fire reportedly started in the basement and was set accidentally.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
