Crews say a house fire on Jefferson Blvd. in Windsor stemmed from the home's kitchen.
The Windsor Fire Service responded to 1290 Jefferson Blvd. around 11:30am Saturday, to find smoke coming from a single family ranch-style home. The fire has since been put out.
Crews say the blaze caused $65,000 in damages, stemming mostly from the smoke. They attribute the cause to unattended cooking.
There were no injuries in the blaze. A section of Jefferson Blvd. was blocked off by police, but it has since reopened.
