D-Day Anniversary, So Transit Windsor Thanks Veterans

As a way of saying thanks to veterans, Transit Windsor is offering a ride on them.

Veterans and cadets in full uniform can ride the bus free today.

Veterans can also apply for a lifetime Transit Windsor bus pass. The program is open to all Canadian and Allied Veterans who participated in active service during World War II, the Korean or Vietnam Wars and live in the City of Windsor. It's offered as an acknowledgment for their sacrifice and commitment to the community and the country.
