An officer on patrol spotted the man, and the silhouette of the gun in a lawn chair bag around 9:30am. Not long after, he was stopped near Wyandotte St. W and Caron Ave. and arrested.
The man is charged with carrying a concealed weapon and possessing a firearm without holding a license.
Hospitals in southwestern Ontario are feeling the effects of underfunding, according to a new report by the CCPA.
Fortunately, no children were on board the bus, but the drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
