Pros Offer Flowrider Lessons

Some of the best Flowriders were in Windsor today offering lessons to eager Windsorites.

The professional Flowboarders are on their way to Indiana to compete in the 2016 Flowrider FLOW tour.

"We just needed them to come along and teach us how to grow this sport, and that's why they're here," says Kendal Malewicz with Windsor Flowriders who invited the professionals to Windsor.

Malewicz and the Windsor Flowriders teach weekly lessons at the Adventure Bay Family Water Park.

"We really try to very hard to grow this sport and it's huge. It's local, you don't need to go to Kalahari, you don't need to go to Ohio, you can come to Windsor, it's like having a cruise ship in your backyard," says Malewicz.

She says the Canadian Flow tour is expected to make a stop in Windsor next year.
