The Colchester Beach is closed to swimming due to high levels of bacteria.
The Windsor and Essex County Health Unit tests the bacteria levels at ten area beaches every Wednesday and gets the results back for Friday.
A beach warning has been issued for Mettawas Beach, West Belle River Beach and Holiday Beach as high levels of bacteria could pose a health risk.
Officials warn that water quality can change from day to day and they do not recommend swimming if there was recent heavy rainfall, if the water is cloudy or if you are unable to see your feet in the water.
