A Windsor woman is facing several charges following a serious crash at Gary St. in LaSalle.
LaSalle police say on Saturday around 10pm, a black Mercedes crashed through a gazebo at a residence, hit three Canada Post mailboxes and went through a fence, before ending up in the backyard of another residence.
The driver faces charges of impaired operation, exceeding the legal limit of alcohol, and assaulting a peace officer after allegedly spitting on the officers at the time of her arrest.
Police say no one was hurt during the incident. The vehicle on the other hand is damaged beyond repair.
