The Windsor Spitfires dropped a 4-1 decision to the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds on Wednesday.
The Greyhounds drew first blood with a goal almost 13 minutes into the first period, but Cole Carter scored for the Spitfires to tie things at 1-1 just before the second. The Greyhounds scored twice in the second frame to retake the lead, and then added another goal in the third to cap off their win.
Goaltender Mario Culina made 24 saves for Windsor out of 28 shots on net.
The Spitfires will head to Flint on Saturday to take on the Firebirds at 7pm.
