The Windsor Police Service is looking for a man who robbed four women in a car along the city's riverfront.
Police officials say the vehicle was parked in a lot along Riverside Dr. W at California Ave., around 10pm Wednesday.
The man reportedly opened the car door and demanded cellphones from the women, while pointing a handgun.
Police say he got the phones and began to walk away when he was tackled from behind by one of the women. He then hit her and ran south towards University Ave.
The victims told officers they believe the gun was fake.
The suspect is described as a black man in his early 20s, standing 6 ft tall with a skinny build. He was last seen wearing a black Windsor thunderbird jacket with red and green writing on the front, black Adidas track pants and air Jordan running shoes.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Windsor Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
