As the evacuation of those sick and injured from the Syrian city of Aleppo continues, residents in Windsor will be sending their positive thoughts.
There's a vigil at 5:30pm Thursday at Dieppe Park on Windsor's riverfront.
An official with the World Health Organization says so far the operation is going smoothly and about 1,000 people have left by bus or ambulance.
United Nations officials say they have been shut out of the evacuation.
The three-stage evacuation is part of the cease-fire negotiated between rebels and the Syrian government.
