Windsor Express Ready To Impress

The Windsor Express are ready for their season opener against Orangeville on Thursday.

The team consists of a lot of new faces and players like Darren Duncan and Quinnel Brown returning from previous seasons.

Head Coach Bill Jones says they will continue the team's tradition of being a fast-paced hard-hitting team.

"We addressed our weaknesses from last year, we didn't feel like we were a very good perimeter shooting team so we went out and addressed those needs," says Jones.

The team play Thursday in Orangeville and take on Orangeville again in the home opener Friday night at the WFCU Centre.

"They've got some good perimeter players so what you look for Orangeville is to always compete, know they are going to play hard for 48 minutes and it's a rivalry game obviously because it's in our division," says Jones.

To open the season, the Express play four division games in five days.
