Goodbyes To Be Said For Two Prominent Community Members

Friends and family pay their final respects to the principal at Tecumseh Vista Academy and a former Essex County warden Friday.

The funeral mass for Paul Bisson is at 11am at St.Simon and St. Jude Church in Belle River.

Bisson died suddenly Christmas Eve at the age of 53.

At 2pm, the service for former Essex County Warden Rob Schmidt gets underway at North Leamington United Mennonite Church.

Schmidt was elected warden in 1996 and helped oversee the amalgamation of the county's 21 municipalities into the current seven.

He was 69.
