Ghomeshi's Lawyer Visits Windsor

The lawyer for former CBC host Jian Ghomeshi in his high profile sexual assault trial isn't interested in speaking with reporters now that the case has wrapped — at least not reporters in Windsor.

Marie Henein of the law firm Henein Hutchison LLP based in Toronto paid a visit to law students at the University of Windsor on Thursday where her husband, Glen Jennings, is a sessional instructor.

Students packed into Moot Court in the university's law building to hear her speak.

Henein shared her story of getting into the law profession and took questions from the students. She wouldn't take questions from reporters and asked not to be recorded, either by video or audio devices.

Henein represented Ghomeshi as he faced charges of sexual assault and choking to overcome resistance. He was acquitted of the charges related to three women.
