A Mississauga man is facing drug trafficking charges after allegedly attempting to bring 37 kg of suspected cocaine over the Ambassador Bridge.
On December 27, 2016, a lone male driver arrived at the Ambassador Bridge with a load of fruit. He was referred to secondary inspection where a border services officer discovered 30 bricks of cocaine concealed in the trailer.
The drugs were seized and the driver was arrested. He faces charges of importation of cocaine and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
