Two Windsorites are facing drug trafficking charges after a package from China was intercepted in Vancouver.
A package arrived at the mail centre in Vancouver on February 22 and 14 grams of Fentanyl was seized. That's equivalent to 140,000 standard medical doses.
The package was destined for a residential address in Windsor.
After an RCMP investigation, a search warrant was executed on February 27 on Mitchell Cres. in south Windsor.
A 25-year-old man and 27-year-old woman were arrested. They have both been charged with importation and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
