Father And 4-Year-Old Seriously Injured In Crash

Three people, including a 4-year-old boy, are in hospital after a crash on North Talbot Rd. in the Town of Essex.

The OPP say a red Chrysler minivan was headed west on North Talbot Rd. around 1:40pm, when it was hit by a grey Ford travelling east.

A 4-year-old boy and his father, who were in the Ford, suffered serious injuries.

Police say a woman who was driving the minivan is recovering from minor injuries.

North Talbot Rd. was closed for several hours between County Rd. 8 and Cameron Sideroad. It has since been reopened.
