One man is in hospital after his hand was crushed by a steel beam at a Tecumseh workplace on Blackacre Dr. near Pulleyblank St.
The Tecumseh Fire Department says fire crews responded to the industrial accident on Tuesday around 3:50pm. Other workers were able to use a crane to remove the been from on top of the man's hand, and upon arrival, fire officials found him being treated by EMS.
The worker, who is in his 60s, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
It is unknown if the Ministry of Labour will be investigating.
