Tenants Displaced After Windsor House Fire

The Windsor Fire and Rescue Service says an early morning blaze at a west end home started in the sofa.

The house on Martindale St. between Campbell Ave. and McEwan Ave. was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived around 3am on Wednesday.

The fire started in the lower front unit of the four unit building. The cause is undetermined. All four tenants have been displaced due to the fire. There were no injuries.

Windsor fire officials estimate the blaze caused around $200,000 in damage.
