The City of Windsor wants to learn more about what causes basement flooding in the area.
It's encouraging residents to take ten minutes and fill out a new online survey its created.
"The information provided will help the city deliver the most effective flood mitigation program and will be used to inform capital program decisions," says city engineer Mark Winterton.
He adds that even residents with no history of basement flooding can participate in the survey. Online responses are preferred, but hard copies are available through 311.
During and after a major rain event back on September 29, 2016, nearly 3,000 callers reported incidences of flooding to 311.
