An 18-year-old from Windsor is facing charges, including sexual assault, after police investigated a relationship involving girl under the age of 16.
Officers say they learned of the relationship a month ago.
The accused allegedly sent the girl a message on social media which led to texting, and eventually to an in-person meeting.
Police say the victim got into a vehicle and was taken to a parking lot where she was assaulted.
The arrest was made on Monday.
