The Windsor Essex Community Foundation is looking for community input in its latest vital signs survey.
The survey asks residents to grade how the community is doing in areas like the environment and transportation. It also asks what the priority and focus should be moving forward.
Lisa Kolody, executive director of the WECF, says they have been doing the survey for four years and it has become an important resource for policy makers and municipalities.
"One of the areas we're looking at is sense of belonging. One of the true indicators of how happy people are in a community is if they feel like they belong," says Kolody. "We want to look at what are the areas that make it difficult to feel a sense of belonging and how we as a community can work together to address it and make it better."
The survey can be found online here. Last year, around 900 people participated in the survey. The foundation hopes to engage more people throughout Windsor and Essex County this year.
The results from the survey will be compiled and published on October 3, 2017.
