Most of Southwestern Ontario has already seen more than 5 cm (2 inches) of rain in since Thursday and Environment Canada says the ground can't hold much more.

Environment Canada says most the rain has fallen and any residual rain is expected to end later Friday evening.  Periods of rain are also expected Saturday throughout the day.

As of 2pm, Belle River and Chatham have seen the most rain, with 51 mm (2 inches). Ridgetown has had 46.3 mm (1.8 inches), Harrow has had 43.9 mm (1.7 inches) and Windsor is absorbing 37.6 mm (1.5 inches).
