Police are investigating after three suspects, armed with a knife and a handgun, held up a convenience store in Windsor.
The Windsor Police Service says on Thursday around 9:40pm, the three male suspects entered the convenience store on Shepherd St. E near Ouellette Ave., and one of them pointed a handgun at the clerk. The clerk then fled to a safe location in the store. Shortly after, the three suspects ran from the store, heading north towards Dufferin Place.
A quantity of merchandise was taken from the store, but no one was injured during the robbery.
The first suspect, who was armed with the handgun, is described as a white male in his early 20s, with a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt with a blue stripe across the chest with white lettering, black pants and a black mask covering his face from the nose down. He was also carrying a blue University of Windsor shopping bag.
The second suspect, who was armed with a knife, is described as a white male, and was last seen wearing a black jacket with white stripes and a hood, black pants, as well as white running shoes with black soles. His face was covered with a white fabric.
The third suspect is also a white male, and was last seen wearing a navy hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black shoes with white soles. He was also carrying a black shopping bag
