Windsor Fire and Rescue were called to a home in the 3000-block of Virginia Park Ave on a report of a fire that had affected most of the home's main level.
There were no reports of injuries and Windsor Fire says the cause was accidental.
Damage is estimated at $200,000.

Windsor police are looking for two suspects involved in a violent assault over the weekend.
Hospitals in southwestern Ontario are feeling the effects of underfunding, according to a new report by the CCPA.
Fortunately, no children were on board the bus, but the drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
