A recent Catholic Central High School graduate will not have a problem paying tuition, as she embarks on post-secondary school journey, majoring in Astrophysics.
Jomanah Chahrour is the recipient of the Schulich Leadership Scholarship, which is granting her $80,000 to study at McMaster University.
It's the largest Science Technology Engineering and Math scholarship in Canada, and Chahrour is the first ever Catholic Central grad to earn it.
The Schulich Foundation says Chahrour was chosen by its Head of Guidance Christena Slivoka for her excellent academic achievements.
