Both Environment Canada and the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit have rescinded heat warnings now that cooler air is moving into the region.
The health unit extended its heat warning yesterday when temperatures peaked around the 32 C (90 F) mark.
Current outdoor temperatures and those forecasted by Environment Canada are below the threshold used by the health unit to continue the heat warning.
Temperatures Wednesday are expected to peak at 29 C (84 F) with a humidex of 34 C (93 F).
