The Ontario Provincial Police has charged the driver of a tractor-trailer that rear-ended a school bus on Walker Rd. in Tecumseh.
The crash shut down Walker Rd. between South Talbot Rd. and County Rd. 8 for about two hours during the morning commute Tuesday.
The bus was carrying six children, aged 9 to 12, to St. Ursula's School in McGregor at the time. Two of the children suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The driver of the school bus and the tractor-trailer were not hurt.
A 27-year-old Leamington man faces a charge of careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
