One person has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a city bus and a car, which resulted in a traffic signal pole being knocked down onto the roadway.
The Windsor Police Service says on Thursday just before 7pm, the Transit Windsor bus and the car collided at the intersection of Ouellette Ave. and Elliotte St. W, forcing the car into a traffic pole. The force of the crash knocked over the pole into the northbound lanes of Ouellette.
Police say one person was taken to hospital, but has since been treated for minor injuries and released.
There has been no word on whether or not any charges will be laid.
The northbound lanes of Ouellette Ave. were blocked at the intersection while the traffic light was down. The roadway is now open.
