'More Windsor' Campaign Seeks Cross-Border Visitors

Detroit residents are getting a formal invitation to cross the border and see what Windsor-Essex has to offer.

The 'More Windsor' campaign is the brainchild of The Imagination Group, a Windsor-based print and marketing company, and 11 partners including business improvement associations, Tourism Windsor-Essex Pelee Island and the Windsor-Essex Economic Development Corporation.

"The More Windsor campaign is an outstanding initiative that promotes small independent businesses and leverages Windsor-Essex's many assets to drive U.S. visitation to the region," says Rino Bortolin, chair of the Windsor Business Improvements Areas Association and Ward 3 city councillor.

The campaign will include digital and traditional mediums, such as radio and print ads, and will wrap up in October.

The website will give Detroit residents a listing of places to visit, dining and cultural experiences, local points of interest, and information about crossing the border.
