Environment Canada has ended a severe thunderstorm warning for Windsor-Essex.
The weather service says conditions were previously favourable for severe thunderstorms with heavy rain on Wednesday.
Rainfall amounts of 50 mm in an hour or less were possible in some locations due to a very slow moving thunderstorm. Damaging wind gusts, frequent lightning, and hail were also possible.
Environment Canada ended the warning just before 7pm. A severe thunderstorm watch has also ended.
