Two local people are facing drug trafficking charges after an investigation by the Windsor Police Drug and Gun Unit.
The male and female were arrested in front of a residence on Woodward Blvd. on Tuesday August 1, 2017 around 2pm. A quantity of drugs and money were seized from the 43-year-old male suspect and money was seized from the 46-year-old female suspect.
After conducting a search of the home more drugs and property were seized. The drugs seized include crystal methamphetamine, fentanyl pills, percocet, cannabis marijuana, and hashish. The total estimated street value is approximately $2,755.
Both suspects are facing charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
