A person has died following a motorcycle collision in Essex County Sunday night.
Ontario Provincial Police say it happened around 7:30pm Sunday on County Rd 27 between Lions Club Rd and Hwy 401 in Belle River. Police say only one vehicle, the motorcycle, was involved.
The 54-year-old rider Bruce Elliott was the only occupant of the motorcycle. He was taken to hospital and later succumbed to his injuries.
OPP, Essex Windsor EMS and the Lakeshore Fire Department worked on the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
