Caution Urged After Morning Crashes

Tecumseh Fire Services is urging drivers to use caution after a couple of bad crashes during the morning commute.

Firefighters responded to the eastbound lanes of Hwy. 401 east of Howard Ave. just after 7am Tuesday after a vehicle rolled.

Earlier, a caller to BlackburnNews.com said a five-vehicle crash was holding up traffic in the westbound lanes of the E.C. Row Exwy. near Dominion Blvd.  Windsor police confirmed at least three vehicles were involved.

There is no word yet about injuries in either crash.

Overnight, Windsor police warned drivers that many city streets were underwater after approximately 57 mm of rain fell. Some county roads also flooded after close to 75 mm of rain fell on areas west of Harrow.

Environment Canada warns more rain is on the way Tuesday.
